OVERVIEW

This page is included to give the first-time user a quick primer to the uses of our site.

FEATURES- Our site is different because:

1. Our lessons are given on five different skill levels. There are helpful lessons and demonstrations for students of any skill level. A lot of our songs are shown on several levels of difficulty. You can choose whatever level fits you.

2. You can choose two different styles of learning:

KMS Number System- This is our "signature" course. We took the renowned "Nashville Number System" and adapted it to gospel. This course has quickly produced countless musicians for small churches who can't afford to hire the "big boys". You will play beautifully in a few "months" rather than "years". However, you will not understand a lot of the details of what you are playing.

Theory- This approach teaches you the "nuts-and-bolts" of how music is put together. It takes longer than the "Number system", but you understand more about what you and other musicians are doing.

Our recommendation- We recommend that you start with the "KMS Number System" to get a few songs under your belt (Especially if your church needs a musician right away). Then switch over to the theory lessons to get more information. Have fun!!

NAVIGATING THE SITE- The home page is divided into three sections: Left, Middle, and Right.

Left- Takes you to the video library. There are three sections to choose from: Lessons, Song Demonstrations, and Ear Training.

Middle- Video player. You view everything from here. You can also choose short sample clips listed underneath the video screen.

Right- Information Section. Links on the right give detailed explainations of the features, sections and pages of our site.
